Dream journal text, sent for AI-powered interpretation and analysis
Voice recordings, sent for speech-to-text transcription

This data is transmitted securely via encrypted connections and is not stored by these third-party services beyond what is needed to process your request. These providers do not use your data to train their AI models. You will be asked for explicit consent within the app before any data is sent to these services.

5. Third-Party Services

In addition to AI services, we use the following third-party services to operate NightFold:

Firebase (Google) for authentication, analytics, and push notifications
RevenueCat for subscription and payment processing
Apple / Google for sign-in authentication

6. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Dream journal entries and personal data are stored on secure servers with restricted access.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you request account deletion, we will permanently remove your data from our systems within 48 hours. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.
